Each program area has its own Local Council (LR). There are between two and four students in all Local Councils, two of whom are constituted as chairman and deputy chairman (M/F).
Local Council
The chairmanship (2 students) from each Local Council sits on the Student council (DSR). DSR consists of 12 students who have been elected because of their position in the Local Councils. In addition, a chairman and a deputy chairman of DSR are elected - these can both come from a Local Council or be elected directly among all KEA students.
It will typically be the students in LR who gather feedback, suggestions for change etc. and bring it to the Head of Programme, KEA Studieliv or DSR. The Local Councils therefore helps to streamline the students' opinion in each program area. The Local Councils function as a supplement to existing councils and groups for the students.
