In KEA's board, two student representatives sit on behalf of all full-time students at KEA. Elections are held every two years, and all full-time students are eligible to vote.
Board of Directors
The next election for KEA's board is in the spring of 2026.
The board is KEA's highest authority and is responsible for safeguarding KEA's interests as an educational institution, including establishing guidelines for KEA's organization, long-term operations, and development.
The board consists of a total of 13 members. 2 representatives are elected by the students, 2 representatives are elected by the staff, and the remaining members represent businesses and the labor market. The external members are appointed by labor market parties, among others. Students are elected for a 2-year term. The other board members are elected for a four-year term, which coincides with the municipal election period.
A seat on the board provides a high degree of influence on KEA as an educational institution and gives you a voice in steering KEA in the direction you desire.
All full-time students can run for election; however, we encourage you to expect to have at least one year left in your studies.
