Maker Lab is a prototype workshop for KEA's students, teachers and collaborating institutions.
Maker Lab
As a student, you can use the Maker Lab in conjunction with the projects and activities you are working on in your education. The Maker Lab is for study-related tasks, and you cannot use the workshop for productions or in a private context.
In the Maker Lab you can find machines for:
- Laser cutting
- 3D printing
- CNC milling
- Wood workshop
- Digital textile print
- T-shirt print
- Serigraphy
- Foil printing/cutting
- Acrylic bender

Access and safety course
The Maker Lab is open to all students and teachers at KEA. To access the Maker Lab, you must attend a safety course. You will find our upcoming safety courses on Safeticket, where you must register.

Machines in Maker Lab
You can book machines between 9am and 4pm, with the exception of CNC, which requires a separate agreement.
Between 16-18 you can use the machines on a first-come, first-served basis, with the exception of CNC, which requires a separate agreement.
You book machines and equipment in our booking module (Topdesk). In the descriptions below you can find direct links to booking the equipment in question.
