- welcoming and appreciative behavior that creates well-being. Developed by KEA student volunteers.
The PARIS agreement
As a student, your behavior affects the well-being of your fellow students at KEA. The student volunteers in particular have a great impact on student life through the activities they organize and are part of.
As part of ensuring appreciative and welcoming behavior among all students, the voluntary communities have therefore joined together to develop a set of values, which we call the PARIS agreement.
We hope that the PARIS agreement can help create a safe and good study environment for all students at KEA!
PARIS stands for:
- Positivity (Positivitet): Meet each other with positive energy. It infects.
- Responsibility (Ansvar): Be a good role model for others. Take responsibility for the community.
- Respect (Respekt): Together we set the standard for respectful behavior. It creates security.
- Inclusion (Inklusion): Everyone is welcome. Contribution to an inclusive study environment.
- Togetherness (Sammenhold): Together we create a good student life. Be part of the community.

Positivity
Meet each other with positive energy. It infects.
You must meet your fellow volunteers and other students with positive energy and engage in your tasks as a volunteer. It should be fun to be part of the voluntary community, and therefore you are optimistic and aware that openness creates the best foundation for good relationships and cooperation between students.
-
Responsibility
Be a good role model for others. Take responsibility for the community.
As a volunteer, you are a representative of KEA and must therefore be aware of your behavior when meeting your fellow students. You must be a good role model for the other students and take the lead with constructive communication that contributes to creating and developing good social and social work communities.
-
Respect
Together we set the standard for respectful behaviour. It creates security.
As a volunteer, you set the standard for respectful behavior among students; regardless of gender, age, religion, ethnicity and other personal circumstances. You recognize the individual's views, and you focus on creating mutual trust between the students, where the individual's boundaries are respected and where it is safe to speak up.
-
Inclusion
Everyone is welcome. Contribution to an inclusive study environment.
With your voluntary commitment, you are expected to contribute to creating an inclusive study environment with room for diversity and students with different perspectives. All students have the same rights, and therefore your behavior must help to ensure that everyone has equal access to being and becoming part of the community.
-
Togetherness
Together we create a good student life. Be part of the community.
As a volunteer, you are part of a broad community with a common goal to contribute positively to the study environment at KEA. All volunteers have the task of contributing to new volunteers - as well as other students - feeling welcome. As a volunteer, you are a co-developer of communities with a focus on unity and team spirit.
