Sustainability is an important focus area for KEA, so we continually sort our waste. As a student, you can help to ensure that KEA’s waste is recycled in the most environmentally friendly way by using the containers placed in communal areas and labs.
Garbage
Waste stations
The waste stations are placed in common areas and kitchens. The fractions here are food waste, plastics, deposit bottles and cans and residual waste. In canteens and kitchens beverage and food cartons as well.
Paper
The waste containers for paper are placed next to printers.
The paper fraction contains clean writing and office paper such as printed paper and post-its, magazines and and newspapers, letters and envelopes as well as plastic-free gift wrap. Paper towels an napkins etc. must be disposed as residual waste.
Larger amount of garbage
Please write to Service Desk (servicedesk@kea.dk - remember to write from your KEA-mail), if you need to have large quantities of garbage removed such as cardboard or packaging. You can also write to Service Desk if, in connection with a project, you need a waste container for e.g. large quantities of drawing paper, foam board or cardboard.
Labs
Contact the employees in the respective labs if you have special waste.
