The KEA Charrette is held once a year. The Charrette is an intense time-limited cooperation on innovative solutions to complex problems. The participants are students from different fields of education and different countries and cultures.
Charrette
The challenge takes place in KEA’s surroundings in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, and takes place in the autumn.
The concept provides a good framework for the combination of learning, cooperating and being innovative in a cultural meeting. It consists of three main elements:
- Listening to project owners and other stakeholders
- Imagining how all points of view can be united into a result that remains sustainable and financially justifiable, etc.
- Drawing quick sketches that open up for creative thinking and ongoing dialogue
KEA’s students have a third of the seats in the Charrette and guest students from partner institutions abroad have two-thirds of the seats. If you’re interested in participating as a student, you must therefore apply for a seat.
