Artificial Intelligence
In Tech & Story Lab, there is plenty of opportunity to get involved with artificial intelligence. We have, among other things, AIY Voice and Vision kit where you can experiment with voice and object recognition.
Cables and adapters
This sub-category includes a selection of cables that will allow you to either connect equipment that has the same type of connector or different connectors, e.g. USB-A, USB-C, USB-Mini, USB-Micro, and the Apple Lightning connector
Computers and peripherals
In the Tech & Story Lab you have, among other things, possibility to borrow a Microsoft Xbox One and a number of other external devices that can be connected to a computer.
Eye Tracking Studio
The Eye Tracking Studio can be booked Monday-Friday between 09:00-15:00. It is only possible to book it 1 day at a time.
IoT and sensor devices
In this category you will find a wide selection of IoT items – digital 'everyday appliances' that are intelligent and can communicate with each other.
Mobile devices
In this category you will find various Samsung Galaxy smartphones and other mobile devices. You can e.g. borrow headphones or an Apple Watch.
Photo & Video Studio
The Photo & Video Studio can be booked Monday-Friday between 09:00-15:00. It is only possible to book it 1 day at a time. When you have booked the studio, you can pick up the key in Tech & Story Lab on the day.
Photo/Sound/Video
Here you will find everything from different cameras, lenses and stabilizers to various tripods, microphones and lighting equipment. Whether you are looking for equipment for e.g. portrait and product photos, interviews or podcasts, we have everything you need.
Podcast studio
In Tech & Story Lab's new podcast studio, you can try your hand at making your own podcast.
Power supply
This sub-category includes power adapters that typically have a 10W power rating. Since the power connector cables for consumer products are not fully standardised, we also have a selection of cables that you can reserve separately.
Programmable devices
We have equipment for several types of programming, e.g. for the following programming languages:

- JavaScript
- Python
Storage
This sub-category includes standard sized SD cards and MicroSD cards (with a SD adapter). In order to use many of the recording devices, you will need to reserve a suitable form of digital data storage.
Virtual Reality
This sub-category includes head-mounted displays for virtual and augmented reality. Some of them require a smartphone to be added to function as the screen and computer, others have both a built-in screen and computer, and another group have a built-in screen but must be connected to an external computer or mobile device.
