In Fashion Lab and Maker Lab at GBG, single-use bags in several containers for textile and paper waste have now been replaced with reusable bags made from discarded scaffolding tarpaulin.
Zahra Haidari, a Sustainable Fashion Tech student at KEA, initiated this change by approaching Facility and presenting her solution. Alongside her studies, Zahra runs her own business called Zeecycled, where she upcycles discarded materials into new usable products.
