Have you ever found yourself in need of a pad or tampon? Now, you can find two red boxes with free menstrual products in selected restrooms in Building A on Guldbergsgade. During a trial period, the boxes have been placed in the restrooms in the basement and on the 1st floor near the cafeteria.
Free Pads and Tampons at GBG – we’re doing a test run!

With these two boxes, KEA aims to ensure students and staff have easy access to pads and tampons when they need them urgently – and at the same time help break the taboo surrounding menstruation. Menstruation is completely natural, and we want to help normalize it and create a more open dialogue about women's health.

How the Boxes Work
- Turn one of the two handles to get either a pad or a tampon.
- It takes 4 minutes before you can turn a handle again.
- The two boxes are in the restrooms in the basement and on the 1st floor near the cafeteria in Building A on Guldbergsgade.
KEA continuously works to promote diversity, equality, and well-being among all students and staff, and we hope the initiative will be well received.
