Extended opening hours and closure period

KEA has extended opening hours from Monday 25 November until and including 23 December.

During the Christmas holidays, KEA will be closed, but you can still access KEA by contacting the Service Desk at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and requesting holiday access to KEA.

On Tuesday 2 January, KEA will reopen and continue with extended opening hours until 31 January in the new year.

What are the extended opening hours?

A service for students to prepare for tests or exams at KEA, where we extend the opening hours from 07:00 to 02:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 22:00 on weekends.

Can I access KEA during the Christmas holidays?

Students can gain access to KEA over Christmas by contacting the Service Desk at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and requesting access to KEA during the holiday. The Service Desk will create an access card that grants entry to KEA over Christmas. The access card can be picked up at the reception.

What is open?

• The canteen/café at Guldbergsgade, Prinsesse Charlottes Gade, and Lygten will maintain regular opening hours until Friday, 20 December, and will be closed over Christmas, reopening on Monday, 6 January in the new year.
• The library at Guldbergsgade and Prinsesse Charlottes Gade is open on Monday 23 December, but is closed for the Christmas break. The library reopens on 2 January. If you have a holiday access card, you are welcome to use the library.
• The reception will close on 20 December, and reopen on 2 January.
• The labs will close on 23 December and reopen on 2 January in the new year. It will not be possible to use the labs with a holiday access card.
• The Service Desk will be unmanned from 23 December until 2-3 January. You can contact them by email or phone at +45 46 46 00 46. The Service Desk will be closed on the days between Christmas and New Year.
