Free Guided Copenhagen Walking Tour in English
A tour of some of Copenhagen's main sites from Peter, a mature student in Optometry at EK. Peter is from England and has been a guide in Copenhagen for 4 years. The tour will be relaxed, with opportunity to chat with other students while walking.
Meet up at 15:50 at Guldbergsgade 32N, in front of the A-building towards Nørrebrogade.
We are leaving at 16:00.
- Hear about the secrets of Korsgade.
- Cross the Lake Pavilion and through Ørsted Park.
- Explore the prettiest streets in the Medieval Quarter.
- Guiding continues past the Cathedral, Round Tower, and Nyhavn Canal.
- Take in the royal palace Amalienborg and its magnificent surroundings, hearing some of the lesser-known stories.
Duration: 2 hours ~ of course you are welcome to leave at any time.
Opportunity to continue after this up to Østerport Station via the Gefion Fountain, and potentially go out for dinner with other students to carry on the conversation 🙂
Guiding is in English, all EK students are very welcome.
