Circular Lab - Open Lecture
Join an open lecture at Circular Lab KEA.
Our guest for this lecture will be Claus Mølgaard from Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe. With a Ph.D degree in plastic and environmental science and a long history working within the field of design and sustainability, Claus will guide us through the history of sustainability.
"Sustainability is not a new phenomenon, we will take a look at the historical development from Hans Carl von Carlowitz in 1713 to the present day, where we, among other things, delve into one of the newest concepts Absolute Sustainability.
We will talk about Malthus, the Club of Rome, Indira Gandhi, the Brundtland Report, planetary boundaries, the UN's global goals, sustainability reports and much more.
Absolute Sustainability will be treated thoroughly and we will talk about how much we as individuals must burden the environment in the future if we are to be able to maintain the balance of the earth.
With this lecture you will be well prepared to participate in the sustainability debate."
The lecture will be held at Circular Lab on Guldbergsgade 29N in room GBG.A129 and will run from 2.30-4.30 pm.
The lecture is for all students and employees at KEA.
