Design - Build - Race Drone FPV Workshop
Design, build and race you own FPV drone, based on custom drone kit that we provide. You design the frame and the canopy for optimal performance and/or esthetic looks. We finish the workshop with an epic race day in PCG big machine hall.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop will run the whole semester and split into several small workshop afternoons and weekly drop in support hours in Makerlab. Multiple production processes and design tools will be taught:
- 2D design
- 3D design
- Laser cutting
- 3D Printing
- Strength simulation
- Basic electronics
- Vacuum molding
- CNC cutting
Apart from designing a working (fast) drone, you needs to learn to fly it. We have set up a simulator for participants to practice drone flying.
