Nordea awards Handicap Entrepreneur of the Year 2023
The Danish entrepreneurial spirit is strong. If some of the many good ideas can be used to make life easier for disabled citizens, it will benefit both the contractors, the disabled and society. This is the idea behind the Handipreneur of the Year award, which Nordea is awarding for the first time in Denmark.
Nordea actively supports the Danish start-up environment and has for a number of years focused on diversity and inclusion through a wide range of initiatives, both within ourselves and in the rest of society. It is therefore a natural step for us to combine the two important areas by giving an extra pat on the back to start-ups with a focus on inclusion and diversity in their business.
That pat on the back comes in the form of the award as Disabled Entrepreneur of the Year 2023. The award comes with DKK 50,000. The winner also gets direct access to the upcoming Startup Match, Nordea and Microsoft's pitch event, where investors are matched with startups that have the potential to grow.
Who can be nominated for the award?
The award recipient is an entrepreneur or a company that, through its business idea or its company, promotes our differences as people and contributes to a more inclusive society from a disability perspective.
