If you're someone with exciting ideas within agro-, food, and biosolutions, then you have the chance to win 50.000 DKK.

If you're someone with exciting ideas within agro-, food, and biosolutions, then Food & Bio Cluster Denmark's annual Idea Competition is a perfect opportunity for you. The competition, which has been a longstanding tradition since 2001, is designed to identify and support new concepts with significant commercial and sustainable potential from both academic and entrepreneurial environments.

This year, the competition is once again being held in the spring, culminating at Food & Bio Cluster Denmark's anniversary on April 25th in Aarhus. Four winning ideas will be selected and rewarded with 50,000 DKK each, one for each of the four strategic initiatives in Food & Bio Cluster Denmark. These initiatives include the development of sustainable foods, efficient utilization of bioresources, green transition towards climate neutrality, and full exploitation of technological advancements in areas such as biosolutions, digitization, and automation.

Past winners of the competition have achieved great success following their participation. Many of them have received funding and support for further development and scaling of their projects. In fact, previous participants have collectively raised more than 1.5 billion DKK for further development and growth.

In addition to the monetary prizes and exposure that come with participating in the competition, the four winners will also receive a range of complimentary services from the competition's partners. This could include anything from counseling and mentorship to access to networks and resources to help bring their ideas to life.

If you have an innovative idea that can contribute to agro-, food, and biosolutions, we encourage you to consider participating in this exciting competition. Visit the competition's website HERE for more information about the competition and how to participate.

The competition is sponsored in collaboration with Arla, IFF, BII, Potter Clarkson, Rockstart, and Danish Crown.
