3D Scanning with Rigsters, PART 2

Want to learn how to 3D scan your own objects? Whether it is for your game, replicating a space or producing a physical product. 3D Scanning with Photogrammetry is a great tool with many applications.

We have invited Rigsters to Makerlab for a workshop on 3D scanning with Photogrammetry. Rigsters are THE experts on 3D scanning, working with everything from E-commerce, media, manufacturing, cultural heritage and art. They even developed their own hardware and software solutions for automating of photogrammetry. You can read more about them and see their work here: https://rigsters.com/

The workshop is split into two half days, where the first Wednesday 6th Nov, will focus on the technology and the practicality’s of how to scanning physical objects.

The following Wednesday 13th Nov, we will go in to how to clean up your model. Repair meshes, making it look awesome with textures and normal maps, and finally export your model to your preferred medium e.g. other 3D software, Game engine (Unity) or .stl for 3D print.

To get the full workflow of the scanning process you need to attend both Wednesdays! So remember to get your ticket for both 6th and 13th Nov to secure your spot on the workshop!
